Vincent Perez has landed a roll of John Eyres' The Last Warrior. In the sci-fi thriller, a rookie cop in the year 2060 fights to save the woman he loves from a genetically engineered warrior (Perez) destined for extermination by the security chief of the all-powerful corporation Genitek. The war drama, written by Csaba Czinkoczky, directed by Phedon Papamichael and starring Joaquin Phoenix , Gael Garcia Bernal and Kate Beckinsale , is set in Iraq. Both studio and exterior will be shot in Hungary and Jordan.
